Acceptance of these terms

By using Pentrawl, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Pentrawl is provided free of charge and requires no account.

Scan only what you are allowed to

You may only scan domains that you own, or that you have explicit permission to test. Running a security scan against a domain you do not control may be illegal in your jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan any domain you enter.

You agree not to use Pentrawl to probe, attack, or gather information about systems without authorization. We reserve the right to block any user who misuses the service.

What Pentrawl is — and is not

Pentrawl performs automated, read-only checks of publicly available information about a domain. It is a helpful first look at your security posture, not a substitute for a full professional security audit or penetration test.

A clean result does not guarantee that a website is secure. Pentrawl checks a defined set of common issues; it cannot detect every possible vulnerability, and new issues can appear at any time.

No warranties

Pentrawl is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its findings will be complete or fully accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pentrawl and its creator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including any action you take, or fail to take, based on a scan result. You use Pentrawl and act on its findings at your own risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the service: no automated bulk scanning designed to overload Pentrawl, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, and no use for any unlawful purpose. We apply rate limiting to keep the service fair and available for everyone.

Changes to the service and terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Pentrawl at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from your use of Pentrawl will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
